Promotions & End of Summer Update

As we approach the end of the summer months, we want to share some important updates from the year so far. We announced the promotion of Jim Allred to Principal in July as well as several new hires and Senior Associate promotions. We also completed a new partnership with ACS Manufacturing in May, a new partnership with Miller Industries in August, and several add-on partnerships throughout 2024.

Jim Allred has been promoted to Principal

Jim Allred has been promoted to Principal effective July 2024. Jim joined the firm in 2019 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2021. Prior to joining Tower Arch Capital, he was a Vice President at CVF Capital Partners in Sacramento, CA. While at CVF, Jim invested both debt and equity securities in lower-middle market companies across multiple industries. Jim is involved with Tower Arch’s investments in CCI Network Services, Creedence Energy Services, SnugZ, and TD&I Cable Maintenance. Jim received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Finance, Economics, and International Business, summa cum laude, from Utah State University. He is also a CFA charterholder. 

Philip Morgan and Ryan Stringfellow have joined Tower Arch

Philip Morgan joined Tower Arch as a Vice President in July. Prior to joining Tower Arch, Philip worked at New Mountain Capital as an investment professional in specialty materials, technology services, and consumer products businesses. Philip began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions investment banking group at Credit Suisse. Philip received his Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, University Honors, from Brigham Young University. 

Ryan Stringfellow joined Tower Arch as an Assistant Controller in March. Prior to joining Tower Arch, Ryan worked for alterDomus as a Fund Administrator where he serviced clients in areas including fund accounting, financial reporting, capital calls and distributions, and treasury management. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Utah Valley University.

Tower Arch announces three promotions to Senior Associate and welcomes two new Associates

Kyle Dana, Brandon Fiala, and Connor Pulsipher have all been promoted to Senior Associate. The firm also welcomed Talmage Lamb and Nate Mella as new Associates. Talmage joins the firm from Deloitte Consulting in New York City and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Brigham Young University. Nate Mella joins the firm from McKinsey & Company in Houston and received a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from Brigham Young University. 

Successfully closed two new platforms year to date

Tower Arch partnered with ACS Manufacturing (“ACS”) in May. ACS is a Dennison, TX based manufacturer of acoustical equipment enclosures, fuel tanks, turbine systems and skids with its main end market of data centers. ACS provides fully customized solutions to fit specifications of both the individual generator and the data center, as well as integrated electrical wiring including switchgear components manufactured in-house through its subsidiary, Tier Power Systems. We are excited to partner with Dan Knox and his entire team to further capture growth in the data center and other growing infrastructure markets.

Tower Arch partnered with Miller Industries ("Miller") in August. Miller Industries is a Fenton, MI-based leading designer and manufacturer of highly engineered custom modular solutions, mission-critical utility equipment, and other specialty steel fabricated products. Miller’s product offering includes air handling units, electrical substations, and central utility plants, serving blue-chip customers across electric vehicle, automotive, data center, and semiconductor end markets, and has been a trusted partner to its customers for over 10 years.

Continue to support portfolio investments with add-ons

Tower Arch supported several portfolio companies in completing new add-on acquisitions in 2024. Intelligent Technical Solutions, a managed service provider for small and medium sized businesses, partnered with Seattle-based Digital Seattle in March. Hard Rock Direction Drilling, a Texas specialty horizontal directional drilling company, partnered with HDW Construction, a Seguin, TX based water infrastructure services provider, in August. Syracuse Infrastructure Holdings, a Syracuse, NY based utility infrastructure services company, partnered with Ledge Creek Development, a Buffalo, NY based utility infrastructure services company serving western New York state, in August.
